L’antica residenza dei Tolomei, le cui origini
risalgono al Trecento anche se le forme
attuali sono settecentesche, ci appare
ancora con i suoi stucchi e affreschi. I tromp-
l’oeil giocano con gli affacci sulla campagna
circostante offrendo scorci di una Toscana
sempre bella e glamour. A pochi minuti dal
centro storico di Firenze siamo in aperta
campagna.
Una dimora rinascimentale isolata sui
colli fiorentini. Da poco sapientemente
restaurata Villa Tolomei regala silenzio
e discrezione. Mentre lo chef Marco
Cerea sorprende con una cucina che sa di
tradizione e innovazione ma che non finisce
mai di sorprendere. Positivamente. Un
artigiano dei sapori.
Una residenza gourmet quindi, poche
stanze, ottimo servizio, tanta pace. Vicini
ma lontani, per chi non vuole ostentare e
cerca una qualità discreta e “saporita”.
The former residence of the Tolomei, whose
origins date back to the fourteenth century
- though the present forms are from the
eighteenth century - is still present today
with its stucco and frescoes. The trompe-
l’oeils play with views of the surrounding
countryside, offering very beautiful and
glamorous Tuscan views. A few minutes from
the historic center of Florence and we are in
the open countryside.
A Renaissance house isolated in the Florentine
hills. Villa Tolomei, recently restored with great
attention, offers silence and discretion. While
chef Marco Cerea surprises with a cuisine that
tastes of tradition and innovation, but never
ceases to amaze. Positively so. An artisan of
flavors.
A gourmet residence therefore with few rooms,
great service and lots of peace. Close but far
away, for those who do not wish to flaunt and
are in search of discreet and “tasty” quality.
