L’architetto fiorentino Michele Bonan, che ha
curato il restauro e l’arredo, ha creato un mondo
di stile ed eleganza ispirato alla Firenze degli anni
Cinquanta, quando si tenevano le prime sfilate di
alta moda nelle sale di Palazzo Pitti. E di ritratti
nel Portrait Firenze ce ne sono tanti. Di dive e
modelle, tutti rigorosamente in bianco e nero,
tutti evocanti un’epoca.

to the point of uniqueness. This is the promise of
Portrait Firenze, the new property of the Lungarno
Collection, a hotel contract management company
owned by the Ferragamo family.
The Florentine architect Michele Bonan, who
oversaw the restoration and decoration, has
created a world of style and elegance inspired by
the Florence of the Fifties, when it held the first
haute-couture fashion shows in Palazzo Pitti. There
are myriad portraits in Portrait Firenze - those of
divas and models, all strictly in black and white, all
evoking an era.
