The resort is composed of a hundred bungalows in part disseminated across the Island
and in part on the sea on stilts, the latter with terraces and direct sea access. It takes a
quarter of an hour to walk around the edges of the island, which takes one across beaches
of very fne blinding coral sand. This is the base for the Four Seasons Explorer (next page),
fantastic catamaran that sails amid uninhabited atolls, connecting Kuda Huraa to Landaa
Giraavaru. Ideal for divers or snorkelers and also for those who love solitude. Picnics on
sandbanks and barbeques on deserted islands are the order of the day - between one
massage and another under a tent on one of the decks. Discovering the resorts is already
an experience in and of itself, but the spa is the real event of Kuda Huraa. Situated on the
little island of Hura Funhu (“island of the coconut palms”), it can be reached by dhoni, an
original Maldivian wooden boat.
