Since 1997 Lijiang has been part of the World Heritage of Unesco. The resort, located near
the little town, refects the architecture of the historic centre, adapting it to the needs of
hospitality structures as do the villas, however the interiors are more contemporary. The
villas have a garden and/or a private pool. The Banyan Tree Spa ofers treatments which go
from the traditional oriental ones to the regenerating therapies of the West.
