Borgo la Bagnaia seems to be simply a road sign among the many located along the road between Siena and Grosseto.
But if you stroll along the cypress-lined allée you soon realise that we are in a corner of paradise in the marvelous land
called Tuscany.
A beautiful painting. And as in the case of all outstanding paintings the frame is no less so. The structure of the hamlet
is, in fact, enhanced by a consecrated church, a convention centre, the Buddha Spa by Clarins and the hamlet of Filetta.
A dive into the past, in the 1200s - this is what the hamlet represents after having crossed so many centuries without
important changes. Marisa Monti Riffeser, the present owner, transformed it into a resort a decade ago, preserving its
fascination. Borgo la Bagnaia is, for this very reason, a jewel since it preservers its original beauty. Everything has been
restored to its original fascination thanks to the owner's attention to detail. In fact, the passions of this perfect hostess
are all present, and in every corner of the two hamlets there is some detail that reminds one of her. The feeling is that
nothing has been placed by chance…behind every object one perceives her vigilant hand.
