southwest coast of Bali, not far from the island’s famous Tanah Lot Temple, Alila Villas Soori lies on a gentle slope
between verdant rice terraces and beautiful black-sand beaches overlooking the azure Indian Ocean.
Alila Villas Soori blends naturally into the West Bali destination and landscape. Local indigenous materials such as
sandstone from the Kelating district or local volcanic rock and river stones were used in the construction of the resort,
as they naturally respond to the local climate. Cool colors were also used as much as possible to promote a sense of
tranquility and spaciousness. They also lower the absorption of thermal energy.
