Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace

Terminated in 1943 it is the last of the grand Indian palaces and one of the largest private residences in the world. It was the wish of the royal family of
Jodhpur. The style fuses Western forms (e.g. the Renaissance dome) and Indian (e.g. the numerous towers). The décor inside and, above all, the furnishings
take their inspiration from Art Déco.
The Taj Spa is organised around an internal pool called Zodiac. Besides the suites for treatments, it has a gym, a tennis court and a marble squash court. The
treatments are the typical Indian ones.
