Ovidio Guaita
graduated in architecture from the University of
Florence and has collaborated with the Department of Restoration
of the same faculty. He has published more than 30 photographic
volumes for various publishing houses, among which Rizzoli,
Abbeville Press and Monacelli Press of New York, Cartago of London,
Seuil and Hazan of Paris, S.D. Space Design of Tokyo, Mondadori of
Milan. Guaita has taught Digital Photography at the Academy of Fine
Arts of Florence and has held several photographic exhibitions. He
is the Editor-in-Chief of Resorts Magazine (Palidano Press). He is a
member of the Italian Geographic Society and national Vice-President
of the CIGV (Club International Grands Voyageurs).
He has visited more than 140 countries.
Lawrence A. Taylor
, US citizen, graduated in foreign languages and
linguistics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison (USA), has
worked as a language consultant for years.
He has collaborated with numerous publishing houses translating
important volumes. Besides being the editor of the English edition
of this book, he has travelled extensively in Saudi Arabia with the
author.
He has visited also many other Muslim countries investigating their
culture and traditions. In total he has travelled in more than 80
countries.
He is a member of the CIGV (Club International Grands Voyageurs).
